Our health care system is complex and the life expectancy of people living with multiple comorbidities and chronic problems are getting longer. Despite publicly funded home care services, not everyone meets the BC Ministry guidelines and/or does not receive the care clients may need or want. Some clients opts in to hire privately to receive the care they deserve to continue living at home independently empowered and with a peace of mind.
Homecare Happiness specializes in caring for seniors and provides many nursing services. Some of our services includes checking vital signs, medication administration (e.g. intramuscular and subcutaneous injection), foot care, catheter changes, continence management, wound and ostomy care, and diabetic education and management. We also provide SAIL exercises that is known to help prevent falls, ADL assist such as shower assist, grocery assist, light housekeeping, meal prepping, respite and among other things as needed. At this time, we don’t provide palliative care, pediatric care, and ventilator care. However, we can provide consulting services in regards to palliative care.
